I have 35 years of writing and editing experience, an M.A. in English, and a B.A. in History. I teach English at Livemocha.com and it has been a joyous experience working with people all around the world. I recommend it to anyone wishing to teach or learn a language.
Beyond the many business, legal, and academic projects I’ve worked on, I’ve also edited three published books to date: To Find Hope by Karlene Kay Ryan (Paulist Press); An Old Weather by Donald Parkey (Scrub Jay Press); and All Rise: Somebodies, Nobodies, and the Politics of Dignity (BK Currents) by Robert Fuller. My writing credits include anecdotes in Woman’s Day and Reader's Digest, and essays for The Fresno Bee and HubPages.com (the latter under the username MindField).
I was a yeoman in the U.S. Navy for five years. I lived in the historic fishing village of Wickford, Rhode Island, while stationed at Quonset Point Naval Air Station. When it closed, I was very fortunate to be sent to London, England for three years.
I have a genuine talent for words, an endless love affair with books and research, and a desire to please not only my clients—but yours.
